A place in which challenge, industriousness and maximising individual potential is pivotal in our pupils' educational development
Headmaster's Welcome

If this is the first time you have looked into Lathallan School I hope that that reading about us is a pleasant experience filled with comments like "I didn't know that...", "That looks brilliant..." and of course "Let's go and see...", because it is only by coming to Lathallan that you can experience 'the spirit of Lathallan'which is so hard to capture in words and pictures alone.

At Lathallan, our focus is of course ,on educational excellence. Our overall size of under 200 pupils, small class sizes, (maximum 16), high quality academic staff and unique environment are all contributors to fulfilling the claim that every child has the opportunity to develop to their own full potential.

Lathallan does not have entrance exams, we assess each child on his/her own merit. We strongly believe that every child deserves to enjoy the success of their individual abilities in whatever field they lie - in the classroom, on the sports field, in the arts, in personal achievement.

They say you can recognise a Lathallan pupil out of uniform as much as in it. Confidence without arrogance, polite, respectful, well rounded citizens of today's world, well equipped for tomorrow's.

This website will give you an insight into Lathallan School, but it is as you meander down the drive to the front of the castle that the excitement really grows. It is an experience which stays with you for the rest of your life - uniquely Lathallan.

Come and see us soon; meet the staff and the pupils;have lunch with us;take a tour of our facilities; share our plans for the future and feel very welcome at Lathallan - because you are!

I look forward to meeting you,

Richard Toley
Headmaster
